I was speaking to a high school student recently who was rather eager to get started in the event planning business. She had no interest in corporate event planning, but wanted to know how to get started planning weddings.
She was curious about exactly what duties a wedding planner performed and how much money she could potentially earn as a wedding planner. On the other hand I was curious as to why she wanted to be a wedding planner and if she possessed the passion required for the job.
I was delighted to share this infographic which provides a “quick and dirty” outline on how to get started in wedding planning as well as outline the traits of a successful planner.
